The Times Chronicle has learned that the dog involved in a single vehicle accident in Oliver on Dec. 1 has died.
The RCMP originally reported the dog survived the rollover on Highway 97 near River Road, but in fact the canine perished.
The driver sustained undetermined injuries and was taken to hospital.
Police say that speed and tire tread were factors in the rollover, but the driver disputes that claim.
