Oliver Elementary School received a big boost to its salad bar program today thanks to Valley First Credit Union and Hester Creek winery.

Valley First donated $5,000 from its endowment fund, while Hester Creek chipped in $2,500 from its annual garlic festival.

The money raised is used for the farm-to-school healthy food program, which feeds the students hot and healthy lunches twice a week.

To date, Hester Creek has donated more than $25,000 to the program.
