Oliver RCMP are investigating a vehicle fire this morning on McKinney Road.
Corporal Brian Evans reported that a vehicle on fire was found abandoned on McKinney Road early this morning (before 5 a.m.).
“We do not have a cause. The driver/occupant(s) left/fled the scene and were not located.”
Evans said there are no known injuries.
The Oliver Fire Department extinguished the fire and made sure it did not spread.
Media relations officer Rob Graham said the vehicle was fully involved when they arrived at approximately 4:45 a.m. Nobody was around, he pointed out.
