It was a beautiful night for an outdoor concert, and Michael Burgess did not disappoint.
‘Burgess Sings Again’ was the name of the concert, held at the Oliver Community Stage Sunday, Aug. 3rd, and presented by Highway to Healing.
Burgess, a Gemini Award-winning star of stage and screen, and most-known for his role of Jean Valjean in “Les Miserables”, entertained the hundreds in attendance for a couple of hours.
Burgess has been honoured with the Queen’s Golden Jubilee and Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medals, along with a Distinguished Canadian Leadership Award.
