Setting your cruise control can cause distraction, resulting in a collision and injuries.
That’s what one local man learned following a four-vehicle accident on Highway 97 near Okanagan Amusements in Penticton on July 27.
According to police, the driver of a Hyundai was setting his cruise control when he crossed the centre line and caused a collision with three other vehicles.
At least one man was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
