Dee Simpson will be teaching Tuc-el-Nuit school’s new French immersion class for Grades 6/7.
They have 24 students enrolled into the program. Students will receive 80 per cent of their instruction in the French language.
Due to federal grants, the school has purchased French literacy and numeracy materials, as well as 12 iPads.
Principal Shendah Benoit said they are looking forward to enriching the school with this new language-based program.
