The Town of Osoyoos has announced that a second round of Resort Municipal Initiative (RMI) grant funding is available.
Council at its Regular meeting on Jan. 14 approved a total of $214,167 in grants to 26 community organizations from its own Community Services Grants program as well as the Resort Municipality Initiative (RMI) Visitor Activity Enhancement Fund provided by the Province.
From the RMI Visitor Activity Enhancement Fund a total of $62,300 was allocated out of the total $127,800 with $65,500 remaining for this second round.
Applications can be completed online osoyoos.ca or by picking up an application at the Town Hall or Sonora Community Centre.
The applications will be assessed by Grant Evaluation Committee with recommendations presented to council for approval. The committee is made up of Gerald Davis, Director of Community Services, and two council members – Jim King and Johnny Cheong.
Deadline to submit the application is February 7, 2025 at 4 p.m.
