A transport truck missed a hairpin turn on Anarchist Mountain early this morning, causing injuries to the driver.
The Anarchist Mountain Fire Department reported that a semi-trailer crashed through a barrier on Highway 3 east between Mule Deer Drive and Bullmoose Road.
At approximately 3:30 a.m., Anarchist firefighters and medical first responders, along with Osoyoos Fire Rescue, responded to the transport truck accident. The injured driver was reportedly extricated from the cab and transported to hospital by paramedics.
The truck crashed into a concrete barrier, according to the Anarchist fire department. The extent of the driver’s injuries was not reported.
