The actions of an Oliver motorist brought the attention of local emergency responders late this morning on Highway 97 north of town.
Police report that a male driver drove off the road between Tucelnuit Drive and Enterprise Way at approximately 11 a.m.
Oliver RCMP Sgt. Don Wrigglesworth said alcohol and drugs were not suspected in the incident, noting the man possibly fell asleep at the wheel. The motorist refused medical treatment and no injury was reported. No charges were laid.
