The ladies from the United Church Thrift Store visited Dance Oasis last week to contribute $1,025 to the Dance Oasis show group dancers to help their fundraising for their November trip to Disneyland. That represents proceeds from one a one-day surprise sale at the shop in the church basement. Fundraising for the trip is about halfway there as the 15 girls hold garage sales, bottle drives and other activities. Making the presentation were Elaine Taylor, Dorcas Ladies president (back row centre), Janet MacKay and Kathie Westphal. Receiving the funds is Tanya Best (back row, second from right), a parent volunteer. (Richard McGuire photo)
