Hall, Feist, Lewis take Nk’Mip golf Men’s Scramble
A total of 66 golfers took part in the Spring Scramble, 3 Man Team Tournament April 29th at Nk’Mip Canyon Desert Golf Course.
First place went to the team of Justin Hall, Jamin Feist and Jeremy Lewis, who had 143 points; second place was captured by Kiwi Dave Roberts, Bob Davies and Allen Connolly (141 points); and third place went to the team up Slick Rick Shillitto, Skye Shillitto and Steve Morgan, which had 136 points.
There will be no Men’s Night at Nk’Mip tonight as the course is closed for a private tournament. Nk’Mip Men’s Night will resume May 13th with the start its Sponsor program. Lots of fun and prizes on each hole, so call the Pro-Shop for details.
Brandt/Ross win senior event
Fairview Mountain Golf Club senior men’s day featured a 2-Man Par Points event April 28.
The top scoring 2-man team of the 24 teams participating was the twosome of Doug Brandt and Bill Ross, with a total of 87 par points.
Also in the prizes were: Bill Boyd/Art Ohman (82); Bob Thompson/Sam Hancheroff (70); Terry Matatall/Ken Arnett (69); Fred Rempel/Pete Wicklund (69); John Dimma/Dan Friesen: (69); Jerry Duteil/John Hood (68); Stew Mcleod/Jerry Sagstuen (68); Roger Bowering/Dave Mccurry (68); Duane Higginson/ Garry Vause (68).
Deuce Pots were won by Martin Catermole (1-14 flight), and Mal Bearman and John Hood (15-plus flight).
