Former Chronicle reporter Vanessa Broadbent recently returned from a holiday in Peru. She visited Machu Picchu, the ruins of an ancient Inca city in the Andes mountains. There were so many people it was hard to walk around the site, she recalls. Broadbent is the new editor of the Osoyoos Times.
