Dear Editor:
After an initial reportage about Osoyoos Mayor Stu Wells’ escapade on Anarchist Mountain, it now seems that the Osoyoos Times is becoming a small town tabloid under the auspices of editor Keith Lacey. It appears the Osoyoos Times has spent lots of time digging in a pit for more about this story.
Please, for the sake of charity, quit dragging a man of splendid character through the mud. The majority of the citizens of Osoyoos wish to remember Wells for what he really was and always will be – a ceaseless worker for the benefit of Osoyoos, the Okanagan and greater provincial good.
