The Town of Osoyoos is thanking residents for adhering to water restrictions saying it has enabled it to maintain the current water restriction stage.
In an e-news update to residents of the town & Rural Water Districts 8 & 9 it said, “The Town of Osoyoos would like to say Thank you! The community’s efforts in conserving water are paying off.”
As a result, Osoyoos will remain at Stage 2 Watering Restrictions which allows for two days per week of lawn watering.
It urged residents to keep doing their part in order to share the limited water resources available to the town.
Even numbered houses can water on Tuesdays and Saturdays while odd numbered houses can water on Wednesdays and Sundays.
