SenPokChin votesFor people of voting age, Saturday, Nov. 15th is election day in British Columbia, as residents go to the polls to select their civic politicians for the next four years.

At SenPokChin School in Oliver, students got the opportunity to have their say one day prior.

Thanks to inspiration from teacher Lisa Caruso, Friday, Nov. 14th was student voting day at SenPokChin.

One by one, students were called up to the voting station, where they went behind the cardboard petition, and selected the municipal councillors they felt would best represent them over the next four years.

Check out the Oliver Chronicle Nov. 19th for full election coverage. We will provide readers with results from the BC Municipal Election, and from SenPokChin in Oliver.
