The Osoyoos Independent School society drew the raffle winners in its big fundraiser at Cherry Fiesta, July 1. Brenda Dorosz, chair of OIS, announced the winners. The top prize was a 2001 BMW 323 vehicle, valued at about $7,500, that was donated by JF Kustoms. Because Osoyoos Secondary School has been saved, the money will now be used for scholarships and bursaries for Osoyoos students. (Video by Richard McGuire, Aberdeen Publishing)
