The owner of a downtown storefront in Oliver says someone left a big COVID-19 “mess” on her window and wants that person to remove it.

Shirley Kosman is referring to a huge sign that someone practically glued to her window at 6234 Main St.

“It’s a terrible poster . . . you can’t peel it off, and they never asked my permission,” she said.

The poster, which is signed, provides information on past pandemics.

“None of these caused the end of society as we know it. We will weather the storm,” the poster reads.

But Kosman said she is really upset about it.

“I would like the person (responsible) to own up and take it off.”

Kosman said the building will be utilized by a retail cannabis shop that is waiting for licensing approval.
