Break-ins at Osoyoos businesses have continued in the past week with the Wander Home Furniture store and Illumination Spa as the latest victims.
The two most recent break and enters follow other break-ins at Osoyoos businesses in recent weeks.
Osoyoos RCMP said they responded on Saturday, Dec. 20 to a break and enter at Wander Home.
While inside, the suspect or suspects stole a small amount of cash and a large ornamental wooden dragon’s head.
Then on Monday, Dec. 22, RCMP responded to a break-in at Illumination Spa located at the Watermark Beach Resort.
The suspect or suspects stole a cash box with cash and several bracelets as well as Aveda hair products.
The dragon’s head and bracelets are quite unique, police say. Photos show the bracelets as well as a similar but smaller dragon’s head to the one stolen.
If anyone is approached to buy these items they are asked to call Osoyoos RCMP at 250-495-7236 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
