Thunderstorms on Wednesday evening, including dry lightning, saw the start of a wildfire on the slopes of Mount Kobau in the vicinity of Swartz Creek north of Hwy. 3.
The Oliver Fire Department noted the fire in a post on social media around 10 p.m.
The fire listed at 0.1 hectares, according to the BC Wildfire Service, is listed as “Out”.
