Thieves hit a couple of Tucelnuit Drive businesses last weekend where tools and liquor were stolen.

Oliver RCMP report they received a call on March 3 from a complainant stating that a break-in occurred at a business in the 6700 block of Tucelnuit Drive. Several items were reported stolen including three Panasonic Toughbooks, three Lenovo ThinkPad T490s, two Milwaukee impact drills, and a 42-inch HP computer screen.

Police were able to recover some tools through investigation but others (the above items) remain outstanding.

On March 4, an alarm sounded in the 6800 block of Tucelnuit Drive. Police attended and found an entrance door open at 3:21 a.m., but nobody was inside the building. Further checks found an exterior door unlocked and another door pried open.

Police believe liquor was stolen from the premises.
