Evacuation alerts have been issued by the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen Emergency Operations Centre (RDOS EOC) in response to the Young Creek Wildfire approximately 21 kilometres down the Ashnola Road which forms one boundary of Cathedral Provincial Park.
