A spot of tea on the first day of spring is leaving winter far behind at the Oliver Elks Hall today.
The annual Sunnybank Tea fundraiser brings many familiar faces to the table, including long-term server, MLA Linda Larson. She is joined this afternoon by Colleen Misner and Tara Hovanes who can’t count how many tea cups they’ve filled already.
Local banter included the recent high school production of Mamma Mia, with Wende Arnett saying how impressed she was of the show, particularly the lead character played by Freya Ware.
