Walking into the St. Patrick’s Day tea in the Oliver Elks Hall is like walking into a family reunion – everybody knows everybody.
That was the feeling today at the annual Sunnybank Ladies Auxiliary gathering, where the baked goods disappear faster than the Canadian dollar at a loonie auction.
Auxiliary president Joy Vangen kept everyone informed, and Dot Cranston turned heads (again) with her charm and St. Patrick’s Day hat. What a lady!

From left, Babe Norton, Doreen Harris and Shirley Polk raise a glass, er, cup of tea.
