Children at Osoyoos Elementary School wore pink shirts last Wednesday to send a message that bullying is not acceptable. Many at Osoyoos Secondary School also wore pink. From left are Sukhmani Sran, Nohl Dragseth, Joel Parker, Riya Brar and Tejpartap Sandhu. Pink Shirt Day was started by students David Shepherd and Travis Price in Berwick, Nova Scotia in 2007. They bought and distributed pink shirts after a Grade 9 student, Charles McNeill, was bullied for wearing a pink shirt on the first day of school. (Richard McGuire photo)
