The Structurlam plant in Oliver is back in operation after a temporary shutdown this summer.
President Bill Downing said their orders dried up this summer, resulting in a shutdown in July.
But the plant is back to one shift now, with the possibility of a second shift if business picks up.
“It’s the nature of the beast – a wild roller coaster ride,” Downing said.
He noted that the wood products market is bizarre, but he’s glad the company is moving forward once again.
