A reportedly stolen truck went up in a ball of flame on Island Road in Oliver Tuesday night.
Police and firefighters responded to the inferno shortly before 11 p.m.
“Nobody was injured nor was there anyone present when fire department and police attended,” said Oliver RCMP Sgt. Don Wrigglesworth.
He noted the registered owner of the vehicle reported the truck stolen the next morning, adding the incident remains under investigation.
