Youth of all ages are gearing up for the rebirth of spring soccer in Oliver and Osoyoos.
Pinnacles FC coach Andy Foster said they are excited to get youth active and socializing again after being sidelined by the pandemic.
Foster has been passionate about the sport his entire life and enjoys seeing local youth get involved.
“I’m doing something I love and giving back to the community.”
Foster said several hundred youth have registered so far. Now they are looking for adult and junior coaches to join them.
Training sessions take place at Tuc-el-Nuit school on Wednesday evenings, with games played on Saturdays. Opening day is April 9.
Pinnacles FC sports administrator Dale Cory said they are giving registration a big push to make the spring session a success.
There are three soccer programs available: Excelsior (U13-U18), House (U12 to U18, and Mini/Tots (U6 to U10 and U5).
While the deadline is fast approaching, parents can register their children at pinnaclesfc.ca.
