The annual Spirit of Oliver Awards were conferred on April 17, honouring the invaluable contribution of volunteers to the community of Oliver. The event, now in its 21st year saw over 100 volunteers attend the thank you lunch and awards ceremony.
The winners in the five 21st Annual Spirit of Oliver Awards categories are:
• Community Roots – Ian Hunt
• Outstanding Individual Adult or Couple Award – June and Brian Johnston
• Group Award – Rotary Club of Oliver
• Youth Award – Jordyn Nelson
• Community Builder Award– Oliver Curling Club Society
