The Town of Osoyoos is reminding all motorists of an upcoming construction project by AIM Roads on Highway 3 at the Osoyoos Trestle Bridge from 18 Nov. to 20 Dec.
The month-long project will involve repairs to the bridge abutments at the bridge to ensure the continued safety and integrity of the structure.
For the duration of the project, there will be single lane alternating traffic and the north side pedestrian walkway is currently closed as well. AIM Roads said traffic will be managed with alternating signals 24 hours a day, seven days a week, throughout the entire project.
Work will be undertaken from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Saturday.
AIM is asking the public to follow all traffic control signs and signals, and obey flaggers and safety personnel on site. Drive with caution and be prepared for slower travel times in the area.
