The ladies of St. Paul Lutheran Church and friends are once again sewing quilts for Canadian Lutheran World Relief and for orphanages in Moldova. This quilting group would like to extend sincere thanks to the many generous people of Oliver who donated numerous items last year. Well over 400 quilts were completed!

The group can use sheets, blankets, drapes, fabric, thin sleeping bags, quilt batting, pillow cases and bed skirts. A bin for donations is located at Oliver Country Wines next to Oliver Car Wash on Main Street.

The pillow cases are used to make dresses and the bed skirts are sewn into little girls skirts.
