Tuesday afternoon was a busy time for Oliver firefighters, RCMP and paramedics as they responded to two motor vehicle accidents within minutes of each other.

The first call at approximately 4:15 p.m. was a rollover in the 4100 block of Black Sage Road near Black Sage Winery. A vehicle was found on its roof, but nobody was inside. It is believed the driver was treated by paramedics at a nearby residence. The cause and severity of injuries were not determined.

Soon after firefighters arrived, they were called to another motor vehicle accident near the top of Secrest Hill Road, where a truck was found on its side. It appeared the occupants managed to escape serious injury. The cause was undetermined.

The Chronicle contacted RCMP and is waiting for more details.
