Fifty clients of the Oliver Food Bank were treated to a Thanksgiving brunch on Wednesday courtesy of Quinta Ferreira Estate Winery.

The winery donated a 25-pound turkey that volunteer Jo Tanner cooked up and served to clients with the help of several other volunteers.

“Everyone said it was the first piece of turkey they had (this Thanksgiving),” Tanner said.

She noted that South Main Market in Penticton donated all of the buns for the turkey brunch.
