The annual kickoff to the Half Corked Marathon took place last Friday with the Primavera Dinner, this year hosted at Church & State Wines. The casual, long table dinner with live music was catered by Casa Molina, the new authentic Spanish restaurant opened in Vancouver by Chef Javier Blanc and family of the much loved Paella Guys.

A capacity crowd enjoyed – perhaps over-enjoyed for those who faced the 24 km half marathon the next day – a beautiful spring evening marked only briefly by a spat of rain. Here are some images of the evening.
