Oliver RCMP are looking for a suspect in the stabbing of an adult male on June 17.
Sergeant Don Wrigglesworth reported that police responded to a stabbing on McKinney Road on Friday afternoon. He said the victim suffered minor injuries to his cheek, adding he was treated in hospital and later released.
“The suspect male has not been located and is known to the victim,” Wrigglesworth said.
No more details were released.
Wrigglesworth confirmed that a warrant request has been submitted to Crown Counsel for charge approval.
