A 37-year-old Oliver man was detained on Friday after a report of gun shots on Harmony Crescent.
Sergeant Don Wrigglesworth said police were called to the residence at 6 a.m. on March 26 in response to a report of numerous gun shots.
Police detained a 37-year-old male and entered the residence to ensure public safety.
“Firearms and ammunition were seized and there was no indication of any injuries, damage or violence, Wrigglesworth said.
The male was released on scene pending further investigation.
