Oliver RCMP had a steady weekend from March 27 to 28.

Detachment commander Sgt. Don Wrigglesworth said the majority of incidents involved tenant disputes where officers attended and kept the peace at a number of locations around town.

Extra patrols along Tucelnuit Drive last Friday afternoon resulted in numerous violation tickets and written warnings issued for various Motor Vehicle Act infractions .

“The motoring public is reminded to be cognizant of the varying speed zones along this route,” Wrigglesworth said.
