Osoyoos Secondary School and Osoyoos Elementary School had staff and students donning pink clothes in honour of Pink Shirt Day.
The anti-bullying movement that started in Canada in 2007 when two students, David Shepherd and Travis Price, took a stand against homophobic bullying after a new Grade 10 student was harassed and threatened for wearing pink.
Students at Osoyoos Elementary participated in random acts of kindness as well.
