The Osoyoos Golf Club once again played host to its popular Osoyoos Ironman Golf Tournament this past Sunday. The format of the tournament sees pairs of teams play a nine-hole scramble, nine-hole best ball and then modified scramble format over 27 holes of play. This year’s tournament was held on the same day as the final round of the Masters, the first major of the PGA season, but that didn’t hinder close to 50 teams from signing up for the 2015 Ironman. These two local couples said they thoroughly enjoyed their long day on the golf course. The happy couples include (from left) Adele and Clayton Richards and Brian and Waverly MacKeage. The Ironman event traditionally attracts a lot of golfers from out of town as they take advantage of the opportunity to visit Osoyoos and enjoy our normally mild spring weather. (Keith Lacey photo)
