Bring out your best voice and join Diane Ball at the 85th Street Plaza to sing Christmas Carols starting at 6 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6. The Christmas Lite-Up parade starts at 6:30 p.m. on Main Street and according to the entries already received this will be one of the biggest and best according to the Osoyoos Festival Society.

To accommodate the parade, Hwy. 3 (Main Street) will be closed at the intersection of Hwy. 97 and

Hwy. 3 and the junction of Hwy. 3 to Kingfisher Drive. The road closure will be in effect from 6:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.

After the parade, Gyro Park will take over as the spot to be with the Rotary Club serving up hot dogs and hot chocolate by donation.

Cozy up to the bonfire, visit Santa and Mrs. Claus, and then at 8 p.m., weather permitting, the Osoyoos Fireworks Committee will present a dazzling display of fireworks to cap an amazing first day of festivities.

The fun continues on Saturday, Dec. 7 with the Osoyoos Kiwanis Club hosting a Christmas Craft Fair at the Legion from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and also on the same morning (Dec. 7), join Santa for breakfast at the Campo Marina Restaurant from 8–11 a.m.
