While the kids are at home, teachers are walking the picket line today at Oliver schools as part of rotating strikes announced by the BC Teachers’ Federation. Teachers want improved class sizes and composition, a fair wage increase and more special needs resources. They are back to school tomorrow in hopes that a bargaining deal can be reached with the province.
