The Oliver Fire Department (OFD) responded to a vehicle fire on Thorpe Rd off Sawmill Rd on Jan. 8 at approximately 5:20 a.m.
The OFD said its crews were able to contain the fire to the vehicle and keep it from spreading to a nearby power pole and the bridge off Thorpe Rd.
The cause is not known at this time and the issue has been turned over to the RCMP.
