Their secret?
A lot of hard work and . . . “You have to quit worrying about yourself and worry about other people, especially your wife.”
That was Fred Tomlin’s response when the Chronicle asked him the secret to a long marriage.
He and his wife should have some idea after 75 years together, and they’re probably tired of answering this question. But they took it all in stride last Saturday during a special gathering of friends and family during the celebration at Park Drive Church.
It was quite overwhelming for Oliver’s most famous couple with the most experience in matrimony.
