We’re back!

The COVID-19 pandemic gave us quite the jab, but there was no way we were going down for the count.

The Oliver Chronicle and the Osoyoos Times have joined forces to return as one print edition called The Times-Chronicle. It will be published every Wednesday.

In it you will find news from both communities. Much of it, of course, will be related to the pandemic, but there will also be features and editorials.

The Times-Chronicle will be mailed out to subscribers and can be picked up at both newspaper offices in Oliver (6379 Main Street) and Osoyoos (8712 Main Street) on Wednesday afternoon for $1.25. Physical distancing rules will apply, and customers are asked to bring the correct change.

News will continue to be posted on both Osoyoos and Oliver websites, which provides comprehensive coverage of the pandemic and other stories.

Journalists Dale Boyd, Sophie Gray and Lyonel Doherty will continue bringing you the news as it happens.

Of course, we welcome back all advertisers, big and small.

Despite the pandemic, this is your newspaper, so let’s work together to make this a renaissance to remember.
