Mrs. Rowland’s Grade 1 class took time to check out a new bench which was set in place today at Oliver Elementary School.
The bench, which overlooks the playground area, is in the name of former Principal Barton Tumlinson, who passed away suddenly in January.
When you get time, take a moment to check out the bench and enjoy the view of the South Okanagan, and also, to remember Barton Tumlinson, who accomplished so much for Oliver Elementary School, and the students and teachers who miss him dearly.
