A single-wide mobile home south of Oliver was totally destroyed by fire early Monday morning.

Oliver Fire Chief Bob Graham said the home was fully engulfed in flames when they arrived on Greasewood Avenue just before 3 a.m.

Graham said the police informed him that the occupants were away at the time.

The chief said all they could do was surround the home and drown it with water until the flames were out.

Graham said he doesn’t expect to find any cause due to the massive destruction on scene.

He stated there doesn’t seem to be anything suspicious about the blaze.

No injuries were reported.
