Marty Edwards and the Revival performed at Frank Venables Theatre in Oliver Friday evening.
The seats were two-thirds full of fans who clapped and applauded Edwards’ performance, as he sang hit after hit.
It was like Kenny Rogers was in the house. And the crowd thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
At one point, Edwards retreived a bouquet of flowers from back stage, walked into thecrowd, and presented them to a pair of ‘lovebirds’ .
Edwards, whose biggest fans may be Kenny Rogers himself, certainly has the look, and sound, of the American singer-songwriter, photographer, record producer, actor, entrepreneur, author, and member of the Country Music Hall of Fame. Rogers has charted more than 120 hit singles across various music genres.
Edwards is continuing legacy by performing Kenny Rogers music around the world.
After the show, Marty Edwards met with his many fans as Kenny Rogers. There were lots of autographs to sign.
It was a great show.
Congratulations to Mike Shell of Shell Shock Entertainment, the hard-worked promoter who continues to include Frank Venables Theatre on his list of booking venues.
There’s more to come at the Venables…
