Market on Main re-opened for the season on Saturday, once again welcoming shoppers and browsers to the park next to town hall.

The market, which only allows the sale of locally made crafts and locally grown produce, features art, crafts, breads and products from local wineries, cideries and craft distilleries.

It runs from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. each Saturday until the end of September.

During July and August, there is also a late afternoon market on Wednesday.

Each market features live music. Performing on Saturday was Roland Berg.

Next Saturday will be music by Allan & Gord and August Accord.

Fresh fruit and produce should be showing up soon with an early harvest forecast.
