The Special Olympics BC bocce tournament in Oliver last weekend saw local teams score well.
The team of Mindy Hamm, Tom Francis, Loriss Larsen and Alysha Thomsen came in first place in their division.
The team of Kyle Sanderson, Barnabas LaFlamme, Wayne Bierbaum and Angela Flannigan came in third in their division.
The tournament saw 20 teams compete, including some from Kamloops and Salmon Arm.
The event in Oliver Community Park was hosted by the South Okanagan local of the Special Olympics.
