The striking postal union won’t “Grinch’ the beloved childhood tradition of writing letters to Santa if the Oliver/Osoyoos branches of the Okanagan Regional Library can help it. 

The two local library branches have partnered with Santa’s elves who will ensure all the letters received in Oliver and Osoyoos are answered, despite the ill-timed stoppage of mail resulting from labour action by the Canadian Union of Postal Workers.

Kids can come to the library to use their supplies to write a letter or use their own and deliver it to our special mailboxes.

Children can drop off their letters off at either of these library locations and Page the Library Elf on the Shelf will forward them to Santa’s elves at the North Pole to ensure their Christmas wishes are received by Santa.
