Regional district officials are keeping a close watch on local creeks for potential flooding problems.
Area C director Allan Patton said they are closely monitoring Park Rill, Testalinda Creek and the Sportsmen’s Bowl area.
“The snowpack level is 127 per cent over normal, so we could be looking at problems . . . but we can’t do much until something happens.”
Patton is recommending that people who live in flood-prone areas be pro-active by being prepared for sandbagging.
